Multiple Sources have been reporting this
UFC 281 - Adesanya vs Pereira sold 600k PPVs.
The only PPV of 2022 to do over 500k.
The Card also featured Poirier vs Chandler.
Among active Stars, Adesanya is currently the biggest draw in the UFC. For perspective, Usman vs Leon pulled in 360k. Francis vs Gane 300k.

What if they put all the stars on one card? They should do that.

Very far from the good years, with cards making 800K+ regularly, and even 1M+ with guys like co*ck Lesnar, McGregor, Rousey, GSP, etc.

Since i think 2015 400k has been a brick wall very few fighters could break. During COVID things got better but no one was under the impression that was a new normal. 600k is a very good number for a PPV though you could make the case Dustin had a lot to do with it given the Conor audience knows him.
Even in boxing 600k is a good number if you aren't a superstar.

With Conor basically done, Izzy is the biggest draw they have now. No one else can even break 500k

The best era was when they had Mcgregor and Rousey at the same time

Izzy being non-binary attracts double the genders, sometimes triple.

In the last 7 years the cost of a PPV went from 44.99 to 79.99. To offset production costs of course.
Familiarity sells and the modern concept doesn't provide that. You can't make stars and sell PPVs when your top dogs are fighting 1-2 times in a 24 month span.

The ufc need new stars fast. Most cards are spreaded thin star power wise.

Their own fault for pushing the PPV price up to 80 and now even to 90 bucks.
Biased numbers anyways. More and more people watch over streaming services like DAZN. Doesn't mean the absolute number of people who watch a fight and have paid for it in one way or another has decreased. Difficult to evaluate.

I’m surprised Ngannou vs Gane did 300K, that card had no star power to support the main event.

People forget that once UFC moved to ESPN+ hey had a really rough time making the same PPV numbers as before.
